A website is very important because it is where people find information. The world of net is all about information. People go to search engine to find information.
Providing information is not enough, you have to provide very good information. Give information that will help people to solve their problems, answer their needs, or guide them to the right direction. Many people underestimate the power of word. With new technologies developing rapidly, people tend to use the latest tools to modify their website, such as using flash, high resolution graphics, or even widgets. Nothing is wrong with all of that, it’s just people are forgetting how important is the content. At the end, people, who deliver great content, are the ones that will succeed.
What kind of information can you write? Well, just look around you. Have you ever experience any problem in your life? I’m very sure you had. How did you handle the problem? You can turn those experiences into articles and help people who have the same problem. Did you have a debt problem? If you did, how did you get out of debt? I’m pretty sure a lot people want to know. Did you struggle for not having enough income? How did you finally manage to have more income? Or you can even write about your hobby, or something that you are good at, or giving tips about gardening, taking care of your kids. You can write anything.
It gets easier if you make a website about something that you personally love. Because you will spend a lot of time to build it. It’s going to take time and patience.
